About Me

A life-changing trip to Kenya in 2014 introduced me to the Swahili word Amani, meaning peace. That experience inspired the creation of Amani Life and reflects my long-standing commitment to helping women and caregivers reconnect with their own inner calm. In over 30 years of experience as a clinical social worker and a certified integrative health coach, I’ve seen how deeply our emotional and physical worlds influence one another.

My own journey has included weight struggles, a hysterectomy, and thyroid cancer after turning 50. Healing wasn’t just about nutrition or movement — it was about regulating my nervous system, rebuilding resilience, and learning how to calm the stress responses that were keeping my body stuck.

Today, I blend mind–body wellness coaching, nervous system support, and sustainable lifestyle habits to help you do the same. Through individual or group sessions, workshops, webinars and special events, my goal is to help you find the same Amani Life.

Amani Life Coaching focuses on the intersection of emotional resilience, physical well-being, and long-term habit change to support you in returning to your natural state of calm and allows you to function at your best.

Amani Life is where you learn to feel strong and calm again — in your body, your health, and your daily life.
