Who I am

About Stephanie – Founder of Amani Life Coaching

I’m Stephanie Crane, Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Integrative Health Coach (CIHC), and I’ve spent more than 30 years helping women and caregivers reconnect with their strength, clarity, and sense of self. My professional path began in clinical social work, where I developed a deep understanding of emotional health, trauma, stress patterns, and the ways our nervous systems carry more than we realize. Over time, I expanded my training into integrative health, personal training, and mind–body wellness so I could support women in a more complete, holistic way.

Movement has always been an anchor for me. I’m a certified personal trainer who loves lifting weights, Pilates, yoga, and strength-training classes. I bring this same love of movement into my coaching—encouraging women to find routines that don’t feel punishing, but grounding, empowering, and sustainable.

My own wellness journey has shaped how I coach. I’ve struggled with weight and body changes throughout my life, especially after a hysterectomy and thyroid cancer in my 50s. I know firsthand how hormone shifts, medical challenges, and chronic stress can impact metabolism, energy, and mental clarity. What finally made the difference for me wasn’t a strict diet or harder workouts—it was learning how the mind and body work together. When we regulate stress hormones, support our nervous system, and rebuild internal safety, the body becomes more responsive, balanced, and resilient.

That’s why Amani Life Coaching exists. I help women rebuild capacity from the inside out—through mind-body coaching, nervous system regulation, and sustainable lifestyle practices that honor your real life, your biology, and your emotional truth. You don’t need more pressure. You need support, structure, and compassion. And you deserve to feel at home in your body again.
